Baptism
Baptisms for infants and children up to the age of seven are scheduled for the first Saturday of every month at 10:00 AM at St. Gregory the Great Church. A mandatory baptismal class for parents and godparents is held every second Saturday every month at 10 AM at St. Ita prior to baptisms.

In order to schedule a baptism, one of the child's parents is asked to call the Parish Center at (773) 561-3546. You will be asked to provide a copy of your child's birth certificate, the names of the child's godparents, and other information for our parish records.

Confessions
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered at Saint Ita on Saturday afternoons from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and after the daily 8:00 AM Mass Monday-Saturday.

During Lent and Advent, confessions are available at St. Gregory before the Saturday Vigil Mass, and the parish offers multilingual Penance Services during these liturgical seasons.

If these times are inconvenient, you are also welcome to schedule a confession with a priest at other times by calling the St. Ita office at 773-561-5343

Eucharist

  • Saturday at 4:30 PM (Sunday vigil)
  • Sunday at 9:30 AM
  • Every second Wednesday of the month at 7 PM (part of Our Lady of Perpetual Help devotions)

Daily Masses are offered at 8 AM at St. Ita Church (5500 N. Broadway) and at 8:30 AM at St. Thomas of Canterbury church (4827 N. Kenmore).
